A Change of SeasonsAs we welcome in Fall, I think about the change of seasons. It is a time of renewal and starting over.

In order to do so, sometimes we need to let go and forgive. While not always easy, these two acts can hold the key to our ability to begin again.

Forgiveness won’t change the past, but it can change the future. It gives us the freedom and power to create a new direction.

The meaning of forgive originally meant “to give for”: both to give and receive. We let go of the scorecard in order to regain inner peace.

As the leaves change their colors and fall to the ground, ask yourself:

  1. What do I want to change or achieve?
  2. What do I chose to forgive or let fall away?
  3. What will I gain when I do?
