Last week our country witnessed one of the worst tragedies in our collective memory. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, victims and community of Newtown, CT.

People did not expect that this would be the last day they would see or talk to their loved ones. Whenever tragedy strikes, we are reminded of the preciousness of life. We think about how intentionally we are living and the kinds of relationships we are creating.

It is a good time to reflect on connections.

  • Do you say what is important?
  • What is left unsaid?
  • If this were your last day to connect with someone, are you at peace?

While this tragedy will leave lasting scars, how can you learn from it to honor the lives of those who died?
