Last weekend a friend and I spent 10 hours purging my basement.

At first this seemed like a daunting task. Ten years of accumulation was overwhelming. I knew I could not tackle this project alone. I needed scheduled time (a structure) and a ruthless third party to help me get rid of things when I wanted to hold onto them.

Instead of asking HOW I was going to attack it, I asked WHO I knew who could assist me.

I hired a home organizer to give me an initial game plan. I engaged my friend’s services. With this team we made tremendous progress. I’m clear I could not have accomplished so much on my own.

When you feel overwhelmed or have projects to do, ask WHO, not HOW!!
