This is the season of graduations. Commencements signify a new beginning for the next stage in life. We celebrate our past accomplishments and look forwards to future possibilities.

Most addresses deliver wisdom from experienced, accomplished people. Most are positive and uplifting. They inspire the listener to change the world or at least have significant impact.

They do not often address the day to day issues that arise. If you were giving a commencement address to yourself now: What wisdom would you share? What was not told to you that would have been valuable to know?

Please send me your thoughts. I will share them with our Leadership Tip community.

After all, we have a new beginning each day!
