Last week we said goodbye to Rosa Parks, a woman of courage. She honored her dignity and her belief in equality. By doing so, she changed the world.

We don’t have to start a movement to exhibit courage. It can happen everyday in a variety of ways.

When we stand up for what we believe even though others may not agree; when we honor our values instead of acting on the “shoulds” from others; when we have a difficult conversation, we exhibit courage. When we stretch ourselves beyond our limitations; when we let go of fear and move toward our vision or dream, we are being courageous.

Being a leader takes courage. You can demonstrate it daily. Who knows, you just might change your world.
