Five years ago today the world changed. The terrorist attacks of 9/11 created a new reality.

On that day and those following, we witnessed terror, fear and panic. We also saw countless examples of courage, compassion and leadership. Firefighters, policemen and ordinary citizens rose to levels they could never have imagined.

Crisis brings out the spectrum of actions and emotions. People rise to the occasion, succumb to the pressure and unknown or find a place in the middle to cope.

By showing vision, strength, compassion and courage, we can instill trust and belief in our ability to handle a crisis.

May the memory of 9/11 inspire you to capture the feeling from 9/12/01 (remember how you felt?) and live each day with courage, compassion and conviction.
