In France most of the country goes on holiday in August. The roads are crowded as vacationers go to the beaches and other destinations.

The government started a new program where the police pull over good drivers and reward them with $60 gas coupons.

As we know, drivers are typically stopped for bad driving. Similarly, we often pull over poor performers to reprimand or correct their behavior.

We often forget to reinforce positive behavior when we see it. We do not take the time or we take it for granted. We assume that “They know,” or “It’s their job.”

Ken Blanchard, a management expert, says, “Catch people doing things right.” Reinforcing positive behaviors and attitudes will ensure that you are more likely to see them repeated. In order to drive for success, pull people over for good performance and acknowledge it.
