Hopeful Thoughts from the HolidaysMany of us celebrated Passover and Easter this past weekend. These holidays are about resilience and rising up to be our best. They represent hope.

According to Paula Davis-Laack, a stress and resilience expert, there are four core beliefs that hopeful people share.

  1. They believe their future will be better than their present.
  2. They feel empowered to direct how their life unfolds.
  3. They see many ways to realize their goals.
  4. While they know obstacles exist, they believe in their ability to overcome them.

Hope is a powerful emotion. It increases our resilience and positivity. It facilitates dreams and inspires optimism.

While these spring holidays remind us of this feeling, adapting these four core beliefs will serve us daily.
