As we begin to thaw from the winter that won’t end and temperatures slowly rise, many of us focus on spring cleaning.

Magazine articles and morning news segments are filled with tips for cleaning, organizing and letting go. Numerous strategies can be applied both physically and mentally and at home and at work.

On the physical front, when was the last time you saw the top of your desk? Take 15 uninterrupted minutes each day and organize. Clean out a file, go through your inbox and respond or delete, Sort a pile and throw things away. Set a time and apply this approach at home. You’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish!

On the emotional side, What thoughts can you release that are old and tired? How can you bring a fresh approach to a situation? Scouring away negative or ineffective thoughts opens our minds to new possibilities.
