As I was taking salsa lessons in four different languages on my recent cruise to Greece, I was struck by how quickly everyone caught on.
What made it so easy? In addition to the instructor being a multi lingual expert, he led by example. He was terrific and moved with style. He was also committed to our learning the steps with finesse.
When you have a leader who sets a great example and is passionate about what s/he is doing, everyone can understand that language.
Everyone can then move in step together, even if the boat is rocking!
