Lessons from a Class ReunionI attended my high school reunion this past weekend. It was wonderful and exhilarating to connect with people I had not seen in years (did I say years!).

I loved hearing what people were doing and how they had lived their lives.

One friend started his career as a lawyer and after seven years, chose a different path in the non-profit world.

Another woman was in IT for a corporation for 30 years and just retired.

A close friend has found fulfillment in the corporate world living in Singapore and traveling throughout Asia.

What hit home from this weekend is that we have a finite amount of time. The time to live your life is now because it goes really quickly. It seems like yesterday when we were all together in classes and hanging out.

Reunions are a good time to reunite with yourself. Check in and ask yourself: Am I doing what I want? Am I surrounding myself with those I choose? Am I making progress in ways that are meaningful to me?
