As a golfer, seeing Tiger Woods play this weekend in the Muirfield Memorial Tournament was a thrill. He is the rock star of golf.

He was behind by seven strokes when he started on Saturday. During the day I saw him make an eagle and a birdie. (Good things, for you non golfers). At the start of Sunday he was behind by four strokes. He advanced to win by one stroke.

Tiger is an amazing competitor. He teaches us to never give up, stay focused and believe in ourselves, even when it seems that the odds are not in our favor.

Golf is a game of skill, inches and mental mindset. While few, if any, have Tiger’s physical prowess, we can all address our own abilities and attitudes, adjusting when necessary.

Even if you are not a golfer this is one lesson that we can all learn from the pro.
