March Madness is always an exciting time in sports. The record-setting six round overtime basketball game between Syracuse and University of Connecticut certainly made history. It also kept viewers on the edge of our seats.
Seeing the heart and determination that these players exhibited as each overtime round began was inspiring. As 1am passed, no one gave up. The players stayed focused. Syracuse continued to come from behind to tie the game. Their team eventually claimed victory.
We all play a competitive game but it might not be called basketball. It might be easy to give up when we get tired or lose hope. Stamina, perseverance, focus, a determined attitude and a desire to move forward are all plays we can apply to our own game.
