Vision- as leaders we are always told to have a vision and look forward. Know the direction in which you’re heading.
Rarely is remembering emphasized. This is an important element of leadership. It is a way to honor the past, acknowledge the present and our feelings and learn for the future.
On this one year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, I invite you to remember. I would like to honor the courage, resilience and strength of everyone whose lives have been impacted. May we all learn something to take with us into the future.
On a personal note, I would like to thank everyone who has expressed their concern and support for my family. Everyone is well.
