The Super Bowl shows us a great example of teamwork. It demands that a group of players support each other and focus on a common goal- a trophy, a ring and a trip to Disneyworld!

Teams can be formal such as the Colts or da Bears. They can also be informal such as the one I put together for my dinner party on Saturday night.

I enrolled others for support to accomplish my goal- a great evening! My neighbor lent me a pot; my mom gave recipe advice several times during the day as I cooked; my girlfriend offered thoughts on dessert; a woman at the gourmet bakery advised me on the soup selection; and my sister gave long distance emergency advice during the party when the casserole didn’t heat in the center.

No, I am not incapable and yes, you can create a team around anything! It makes getting to the goal easier and more fun! When you have support, you have confidence. You can generate different ideas and stronger results. You also have to be willing to ask for assistance.

For example, if a quarterback does not have front line protection, his play options are limited and the results will be weaker.

From dinner parties to Super Bowl championships, teamwork is important. We can create one for any cause! When we have the right players and strong support, we can generate awesome outcomes!
