Every person said that they were thankful for family and friends.

Expressing appreciation everyday and not just on a designated day is a practice that can increase our positivity. According to Shawn Achor, author of The Happiness Advantage, when we increase our positivity, we reduce our stress and anxiety. We increase our creativity, focus and productivity.

In the workplace, happy workers also perform better, have less absenteeism and are less likely to quit or become burned out.

Writing down three good things on a daily basis is a practice that can connect you with positive energy. It shifts your focus to fulfillment and away from what is missing. With a positive mindset you’ll increase your potential for performing at your best level.
