If fear were a color, would you be color blind?

What is your fear color palette? You might have usual tendencies or it might depend on the picture you are painting.

Do you see red and all the negative consequences that could emerge, causing you to stop?

Or is yellow in the picture bringing to mind happiness, warmth and possibilities?

How does grey fit in? Are there mixed message that are not black or white?

Edward de Bono in his book, Six Thinking Hats, teaches us to look at decision making from various color perspectives in order to come to a solution.

Blue = facilitator, organizer, metaview of problem
White = neutral, objectives, facts
Green = creativity, new ideas, alternatives
Yellow = sunny, positive, optimistic
Black = careful, cautious, “Devil’s advocate”
Red = emotions, intuition, feelings

Try this concept on when it comes to evaluating fear. While you might not be color blind, learn from the color spectrum in order to determine your next steps.
