I was in a fitting recently and the sign on the wall said, “Go on and get it. You know you want it.”

It was an intriguing marketing idea because it was giving permission (and encouragement) to buy it.

So often, we are unable to give ourselves permission. We need others to give it to us. We need them to say it is okay to:

slow down, cry and feel sad, cancel a meeting, bring a store bought dessert, take a nap or say no.

What if you started to be your own wish grantor and gave permission to yourself?

Especially during this season, what do you want to give yourself permission to do? What impact will it have? What actions will you take?

You don’t need a sign in a store to give you the okay. Just listen to your heart, your body and your mind.
